Magnet has released the poster for the Warlords
And the company also has prepared the trailer for the US theatres where the movie will be shown theaters on April 2, 2010 in limited release.
In a month (on January 15, 2010 at 9:00PM ET/PT) the VH1 will air the 15th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards gala. for three years already the CCMA somehow predicts the choice of the nominations in the Academy Award.

A 13th Annual Japanese Film Festival (JFF) is taking place in Australia presented by the Japanese Foundation.

According to the list of the nominations, John Woo’s Red Cliff starring Takeshi Kaneshiro and Tony Leung Chui Wai is listed as the candidate for:

The 2009 14th Annual Satellite Awards ceremony will be held on December 20, 2009 (Sunday) and will take place at the Grand Salon of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California.
As you already know the news about Takeshi
Kaneshiro’s sooting in the small-screen 27-episode Chinese romantic drama was
planed for the Summer (June) 2009. It has been known since last Summer. The
announcement by the Greater China Media and Enternainment Corp. and Kingjoy
Vision Inc. that the
shooting will be on schedule was made by the companies somewhere in the 9th
of July, 2008. Each of the companies decided to share the investment in $3.8
million. For that moment when
the news appeared it was not sure who would be playing the female role (the
candidates were BingBing Fan and Korean actress Song Hye Kyo) but it was known for sure that Takeshi
Kaneshiro would have the leading role in the dorama. According to Reuters press release
GCME would enjoy
exclusive copyrights in Mainland China after the completion of the
shooting and Kingjoy would be entitled to the
copyright in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao. Still, according the Reuters press release the information should have
been quoted later. So far it is only a plan, because there is no new
information on the film release, but we would in further inform you on every
new item.
In the course of the American release of the
film (20 of November) and Magnet’s "Six Shooter Film Series V2"
release on DVD and VOD (full two parts movie), XBOX Live and Amazon. (22 of October), Magnolia(the
distributor company) has represented the new trailer of the John Woo’s $80
million budget epic "Red Cliff".
On
the 24th of September, 2009 (New
York) The Wagner/Cuban Companies’ Magnet Releasing
had announced that they would release the second volume of the Six Shooter Series. This volume will
include such films: Red Cliff, the Warlords, Bronson, Ong Bak 2: The Beginnig
and District 13: Ultimatum. It is available on VOD in USA since 25th
of September. And also the canadian distributor Cineplex has already named the dateof the "Red Cliff" release in Canada.
Six Shooter V2 is aimed to show the collection
of the most interesting action movies made lately in the world. The films for
the volume will be released as the part of the Magnolia/Magnet’s Ultra VOD
program and later in a month will be shown in the theatres.

the schedule of the Red Cliff shows in USA.

According to the schedule given by the IMDB, Red Cliff is yet to be shown in some countries
which did not have the premiers. The last in the row is USA, where it
will be shown on 20 November this yearin a very limited number of theatres (the
list of the theatres is not yet revealed).
Toronto After Dark Film Festival
will represent the Peter Chan’s Warlords on the August 16, 2009 (Sunday) at
3:45 pm at Bloor Cinema. The film will only be shown once at the festival.
