The moon is somewhat too bright tonight.
It leaves us no chance to escape from selves, it seems.
Friend, you - there, me – here, lit by this light –
Let’s sit for a while, smoke and think.
Let’s think about how things stand,
Let’s think about inner void and pain.
Dropping the ash, the hand slightly shakes.
You’re right, I’m eating my heart out for my friends.
Soon there’ll be a new dawn and a new day,
We’ll gather our strength and come out to fight anew.
But now we’re too relaxed to put out our cigarettes,
Friend, it will be o.k., of our fate we are masters true.
Stars are blinking, it’s time to part, the night’s turning grey.
Brother, thank you, now I’ll last through thin and thick.
When the moon shines this way again,
Come out – we’ll sit for a while, smoke and think.

Что-то ярко светит сегодня луна.
Не даёт никуда от себя уйти.
Вот что, друг, ты - там, а я здесь у себя, -
Посидим, покурим и помолчим.
Помолчим о том, как у нас дела,
Помолчим о боли, о пустоте.
Стряхивая пепел, дрогнет чуть-чуть рука.
Да, ты прав, тревожусь опять за друзей.
Скоро будет рассвет, будет новый день –
Соберёмся с силами, выйдем на новый бой.
А пока затушить сигарету лень –
Друг, всё будет окей, мы на ты с судьбой.
Замерцали звёзды, светлеет, - ну, нам пора…
Брат, спасибо за всё, теперь хватит сил.
Когда снова будет такая луна,
Выходи – посидим, покурим и помолчим.
