Typhoon Morakot
named so by the Japan Meteorological Agency formed on August 2, 2009 is
considered the deadliest typhoon which was ever to impact Taiwan. It
brought great damage to the country: 461 people are considered dead and 192
missing in the cause of it.
Such a disaster left no one indifferent and
great number of international organizations, countries and simple people were and
