Peter Chan's 武俠 (Wu Xia - English title "Swordsmen") is concidered one of the most anticipated Chinese films for the year 2011. The release of the film in the theatres is planned for July 2011.
For those who are not aware of the film - that is a big budget remake of Chang Cheh's "The One Armed Swordsman".
Plus aditional information on the other film being shot these days: the Hou Hsiao-Hsien's "Assasin" which is also to be rated as one on the most anticipated movies of 2011, but according to the article in ioncinema.com named "Top 100 Most Anticipated Films of 2011: Hou Hsiao-Hsien's The Assassin" Which rated the movie #13 among 100, the release is to be waited no earlier than in 2012.
