Yesterday (8.06.2010) The Production Company that would shoot "Empress Wu" movie in order to attract investors and media attention made a test poster where all of the actors who have or will receive the invitation to participate in the historic drama are together. Poster shows the characters that production company desire to be performed by Tang Wei, Zhang Ziyi, Gong Li, Tang Guoqiang, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Zhou Xun. The costumes of the actors are a bit redone from the previous movies projects.

So far that is not known wether all of the actors are to participate in the project because the contracts are not signed yet. It is also early to say if Mr. Takeshi Kaneshiro is to be in "Empress Wu" but we hope he would take the offer.
Nanfang Daily article says that it is rumoured that Gong Li, Zhou Xun, Zhang Ziyi and Tang Wei are going to play Empress Wu in different periods of her life.
