Viz Pictures an affiliate of Viz Media specializing in the distribution of Japanese live action films have purchased the distribution rights to action adventure movie K-20 LEGEND OF THE MASK which was shot by Shimako Sako in 2008.

The film’s premier in USA was on the June 20th at 8:15 pm on the New York Asian Film Festival and will also be shown on the very festival on the June 30th at 1:45 pm. And after the shows Viz Pictures and Viz Media (as the distributor) will be releasing the DVD of the film under the name K-20: The Fiend With 20 Faces. And the DVD will be in stores in 2010.
