According to the LA Foreign Film Examiner Takeshi Kaneshiro was ranked as one of the 10 of the "hottest foreign male stars". Actually he was ranked third in the list.
1st was Jonathan Rhys Meyers from Ireland and 2d was Gael Garcia Bernal from Mexico.

Guess that is a good point to give congratulations to Takeshi Kaneshiro san. The hottest man in the world for us (TK fans) becomes hottest for Americans.
In March 21, 2005 there was an article about Takeshi in Danwei.org that he was ranked 2d among "50 Most Beautiful People in China". A Chinese actress Maggie Cheung was before him, so it meant he was and most likely is the hottest man in China.
