According to the International movie databank the film was introduced to the viewers in Japan on the 20th of December, 2008 and was shown in the USA even earlier – 8th of November, 2008. 1 of January, 2009 it was shown in Singapore. There is no information on the date K-20 to be shown in Russian and Ukrainian theatres yet.
Though we believe it anyways will be in our theatres too… or at least on DVD.
English title of the film is "K-20: Legend of the Mask", and the literary translation is written approximately as "The Friend with Twenty Faces".

script of the film is written after the book of So Kitamura by the director.
That is the story that took place in the made up city of Japan in the middle of the 20th Century.

Teresa, thank you for that comment. Actually I thought there was a premiere in USA 'cause I have seen that on imdb - in accordense to their materials there was a premier. Maybe it was a closed premier - you know, like - for only restricted number of people?
